They are creative, thorough and timely.

More than that, however, in my many dealings with CMH, they always have put my needs or those of my clients first.

At CMH, our goal is to exceed our clients’ expectations. We think creatively to anticipate the needs of the client and deliver innovative design solutions that are not only beautiful but make lives easier and streamline businesses. We also use our creativity to deftly navigate complex scheduling logistics and to efficiently utilize resources.

We can confidently tackle almost any type of project. It is our responsibility to understand each client’s business goals and workflow, and we research, investigate, and sweat the details so we can make buildings that work most efficiently for our clients, both initially and over time.

This efficiency sets us apart. We design buildings that set the standard for efficiency in terms of cost, energy, use of space, systems, and operations while responding to the surrounding site context. We strive to create timeless designs that reflect a commitment to sustainability, as evidenced by having designed the first LEED Gold certified building in Alabama.

We are team players. Consistently detailed and thorough, we listen to, learn from, and respond swiftly to our clients, contractors, and others in order to foster meaningful progress through every step of the design process.

We are a client’s architect—whether that client is a developer working on a retail, mixed-use, or office project; a pastor working on a religious facility; or an institutional client working on a court, jail, library, educational, or other municipal facility. And we are a contractor’s architect—doing our best to put that contractor in the position to succeed through buildable designs and accessibility for coordination.

At the end of the day, we find great satisfaction in knowing that our projects are successful for our clients.
