Allen McCulla

Vice President| amcculla@cmharch.com

Allen McCulla can build anything. In his spare time, he has built fine furniture, complex metalwork, and he’s currently rebuilding a vintage inboard ski boat. “I like figuring out the details and how things go together,” says Allen of his hobby. It’s this creative mindset that makes him the go-to guy when it comes to solving complex designs that are buildable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. We rely on Allen to work out construction issues on extremely challenging projects and to communicate to the contractor how to build that project. We have a “Brass Handle” award that we give each year to the employee who has solved the most difficult problems of any project we’ve designed that year. Allen has been the consistent recipient of that award.

Allen has extensive experience with different project types, including retail, healthcare, educational, institutional, and office buildings. He has managed both ground-up and renovation projects from initial programming through construction for clients ranging from private to local, state, and federal government. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Architecture and Building Science from Auburn University.
