An overlooked part of any commercial project is how well the team players work together. This spectacular interior office could not have been pulled off within budget without the collaborative problem-solving abilities of CMH (Architect), Hatcher Schuster Interiors (Interior Designer), MWDDA (Mechanical, Plumbing, & Fire Protection), Hyde Engineering (Electrical), and Rives Construction (General Contractor).  The existing space had limited existing construction documents and building information and presented several code issues to resolve. The tenant shared stair access and a main lobby with another tenant in the building. CMH and team were able to help reduce the overall construction costs by $276,062, by reusing existing mechanical systems, offering alternative lighting and finish options, adding demountable partitions and doors, and revising the overall floor layout. In the end, the design team was able to deliver the client’s desired “clean residential” look within the owner’s budget.
