Cullman First Baptist Church

Cullman First Baptist Church and its growing children’s ministry needed additional classrooms and worship space, as well as a dedicated entrance and commons area. Looking to expand their space, church leaders engaged the design-build team of Myrick Gurosky + Associates and CMH to provide a solution on a very tight downtown site. Ultimately, the project scope included the infill and expansion of what was originally a covered parking area below a multipurpose gym and worship space created by a 2008 addition to the facility. This new space incorporated vibrant colors and finishes for a fun, light, and engaging environment for the kids, while also providing a much-needed access point for families and others who were parking closer to that side of the campus. Lastly, the project also included new interior finishes and upgrades in the adjacent fellowship hall and support spaces.
