Lindsey Lovvorn

Lindsey Lovvorn may have graduated from Auburn University with her B.S. in Interior Design a mere two years ago, but her resume encompasses the scope of a seasoned professional—from K12 to university projects, healthcare interiors, entertainment venues, offices, and more. Among her favorite projects are Auburn University President’s Office, Tennessee Titans Stadium back-of-house and suite/club spaces, Bowlero bowling-alley renovations, and even an immersive research project for Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s private suites. Lindsey clearly lives by advice she was given early on: “The best way to achieve success as a designer is to be well-rounded, cultivating knowledge in a variety of design sectors,” she says. “There is always something else you can learn—new technologies, streamlined methods, or strengthening client relationships.”

Lindsey is inspired by the impact that well-designed spaces can have on people’s quality of life. “Designers can improve workplace productivity, create immersive learning experiences for children, and help patients heal faster. It is a privilege to have that much effect on the world around us, and it’s our responsibility to create spaces that achieve those goals.” She is influenced by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, “because of his respect for nature and blend of architecture with the landscape. The best designs are those that are in harmony with nature, not fighting against it.”

A voracious reader, Lindsey also dabbles in creative hobbies like drawing, painting, or baking—or writing upside down with both hands and in cursive. (Seriously, she can do this!) If she’s not given the chance to escape to Hawaii or the Caribbean, you can find Lindsey hard at work at CMH or chilling with her three cats: Kevin, Coco, and Sawyer.
