Kristin Clement

Kristin Clement joined CMH’s administrative team with experience as a Document Control Specialist at a multidisciplinary engineering firm, where she worked alongside the president and project managers to handle federal projects. Here at CMH, Kristin puts all of those communication, planning, and organizational skills to work to support our architects throughout all phases of project management. “I love keeping things organized,” says Kristin. “It brings a certain type of gratification when everything is all in order.”

Some people may be surprised to learn that her full-time work at CMH is not her only gig. “I work my part-time job before I come into the office … I wake up around 4:35 a.m. to get myself ready. Then I drag (literally, across the room) my two older girls out of bed to get them ready, then wake up the baby to get her ready. Then I get the kids packed and sent off to the bus, grab the baby, and head to daycare drop-off.” This includes no mention of the time she takes to care for the family’s new black kitten, “Pickles,” or their Hermit Crabs—Harold, Kumar, and Tony—whom they bought at the beach five years ago. (Most people don’t say “lucky” and “crabs” in the same sentence, but five years—that’s some top-notch care for a trio of very lucky crabs!)

“As a mom, I can confidently say raising my beautiful little girls will forever be the greatest thing I’ll ever do,” she says, adding, “even if they get on my nerves most of the time.” Kristin’s superhuman power of choice is invisibility, but for the humblest of reasons: “so I can eat my snacks in peace.”  Spoken like a true mom.
