“Hallo, Bonjour, Kon’nichiwa, Hello, and Hi Ya’ll!”
Alabama native, Tamara Moriya, has the unique ability to greet our clients on the phone in five different languages – German, French, Japanese, English and Southern. Her degree in Foreign Language and International Trade from Auburn University sent Tamara around the world to Japan for her first work experience and then later at an investment bank in New York. She also had the privilege of working from beginning-to-end on the construction of the massive 3.7 million-square-foot Mazda -Toyota manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama supporting the owner representative.
Tamara believes, “Be kind to one another… but be especially kind to animals.” Her five pets – two dogs and 3 cats – would agree with Tamara in five different languages. She enjoys camping, hiking, Scuba diving, spending time outside with her family and dogs… and of course… traveling. Tamara lives by the motto – “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
